Kitten in space--Should I be worried?

So recently I bought a pet kitten. I thought she would be a nice companion, as I live alone in an apartment. She has been very well-behaved, until today, when she just decided to turn into a pink frosted toaster pastry. I didn't know how to punish her for that, so I sat around thinking....this, of course, gave her enough time to escape. Now she's flying through space, farting a rainbow. Should I be worried by this, or is this just normal kitten behavior?
