Can you wear a ring on your ring finger if you're not married or engaged?

It's just a fashion ring from topshop so it doesn't look like an engagement ring or anything and it's not really worth getting resized. My right hand fingers are slightly smaller than those on my left had so it slips off on my left hand and doesn't fit any other fingers properly. I have a boyfriend so I'm not really bothered about not getting approached but will I look strange if I do this?
