Does my turtle have a fungal infection?

I have a baby snapper and he is either shedding or has fungal infection. The "shedding" is clearly white. It is not see through and is mostly along the shell line. My turtle is currently shedding his shell planks but I am worried he might be infected. The skin easily comes off and he doesnt seem that irritated about it. He is eating fine and has just gone through a HUGE growth spurt! THANKS
