What is the best way to house break my siberian husky?

We got he when she was 8 weeks old. We have been kennel trainin her since we got her. Yet, she still uses the bathroom in the house. Sometimes she will go to the door. But rarely. I praise her when she uses it outside and punish by whoopin her and puttin her back in the kennel. What am I doin wronng?! Please help!
