Help!! My best friend's parents hate me for a reason which is not true! How can I get them to believe me?

First of all, are you a boy or a girl? Because if you are a girl, they may think that you are too old for him and might have the wrong idea about the two of you sending perverted messages to each other. If you are a boy, they may believe that you aren't a good influence on him as you are the older of the two. I once had a similar situation, but with my own parents, where I had been joking around with a friend in what one may call a perverted way...and my parents saw the texts, took it the wrong way, and banned me from speaking to that person again. You may want to try sitting down face to face with the parents if possible and telling them your very not-so-serious intent of the texts and how very sorry you are to have offended them.
